I have received this detail for almost 3 weeks and receive really laid it to Whistler XTR-550 Laser Detector my ain personal test.Price, Identical user friendly (it’s menu is slow to navigate and handle options), It’s display is much improved equally I could easily see it in daytime (it does not stimulate any sunnier than here in FL.)Performance wise, it operates evenhandedly substantially on the highway, giving you mountain of time to alert you, eve on a winding road. Good K, KA and POP alert on the highway. I could not attest as to an open mound road as we do not get many of those where I live.In the city, my radar detector is victim of false alerts due to Building alarms and automatic threshold openers. I am not able to filter these out, not eventide with the Metropolis 2 style engaged.wish, Whistler would got out, equally presently equally possible, with a RADAR LOCATOR, that will indicate the instruction the radar/laser is coming from.I hope mortal finds this brushup helpful. I love mine. I experience been using it for almost1 2 weeks with no problems. It is the best radar detector I have had.
