I have had this unit on behalf of about 8 months. It has given me no problems what hence ever. The unsatisfactory thing about it on behalf of me is how basic it is. If you desiderate bluetooth compatibility, traffic updates, movie times, etc upon your gps, therefore this is not the device on behalf of you. But if every one of you desiderate is toward get around and find places, therefore this unit will work well.

The price seems a little high right now on behalf of what it does ($180). For that price i would expect bluetooth compatibility. This unit does not say the road names, it actual says turn left or turn right inside 200 feet(not a big deal). When you front places up, Garmin nuvi 205W has their phone number and address (usually) which is nice because if its late attending night, you tin can call first toward see if they are still open.

This gps has an sd card reader upon the side, which tin can be used toward opinion pictures inside slideshow style though you don’t indigence the unit on behalf of navigation.

The screen is mere bright during the day, hence you tin can easily see the screen. And a nice feature is that though it gets dark, the screen automatically changes colors toward ‘night’ mode, which helps though driving attending night (the screen dims and the bright white background colors change toward dark blues and blacks).

The trip features are nice. It keeps track of your average speed, how long you spent moving, how long you spent stopped, total travel time, how many miles you’ve gone, etc.

It takes about a minute toward a minute and a half toward find your location from a cold start, but if you leave it powered every one of the time (with a car inside which the cig lighter stays upon though you turn the car off) it never loses the location (not secure if that is unsatisfactory on behalf of it).

The battery life is mere desirable (about 4-5 hours).

There are many add-ons that a technologically advanced person tin can add toward it. Such as custom points of interest (you tin can download them or even make your own, and you tin can set alerts hence that it warns you though you are close toward a certain place or though you are speeding inside a school zone). You tin can add different vehicle icons toward usage as the car upon the screen.

Overall, it is a decent, but mere basic navigation device. Not many bells or whistles, but it gets you from point a toward point b well.
