This is my foremost Blu Ray player and so far I love it. Put up was not also bad, although the instruction booklet is not identical helpful – not certainly what totally the pages are wasted on, but could definitely include more measure by measure instruction. Tuner connection was easily established – I usage a Mac and Airport Extreme, no problem. The pic is beautiful and sound is great. Netflix streaming too worked selfsame nicely – no interruptions and identical good pic quality. A few picky points I don’t like – the disc drawer doesn’t look to ending when you gently push on it like almost dvd players do (including an old Panasonic dvd player I have). This is not a large deal, merely you experience to push the remote or the tip button. The power button and the disc drawer push are on the crown Panasonic DMP-BD85K Blu-Ray Disc Player corners of the unit, not on the front. I receive another component riding on summit of the player, so that doesn’t shape thence well. The remote seems jolly slow to utilization and the buttons are fairish size (some remotes experience petite little buttons crammed together). The on screen menu is a act awkward – figuring out how to modify the brave panel to my local expanse was trial and error. Virtually people believably realize this, just if you’re buying your first blu ray player almost (all?) do not come with the necessary HDMI cable, which can cost you quite a routine depending on the quality. Overall this looks alike a neat unit for the price.
