When I removed the wires from the old battery I removed the blue cap, and was able to save the mix that is built in. Anyway, it works great was half the cost, and I could hook it up to my 12 volt battery charger. In guild to be the new battery to jibed I had to enlarge the battery box, by doing some cutting. There’s too a mapping where you can pause and rewind music you’ve listened to up to 45 minutes, then quick forward.

Some complaints that I have are I wish the remote received a backlight. I too with there was a “previous channel” button. The antenna is too finicky sometimes when you drive under a bridge in traffic or through a McDonalds drive-thru, but it’s bearable and a necessary evil. It doesn’t forever lose the signal, but I conceived it’s worth mentioning. The radio wouldn’t exist worth anything without the service, and I have to articulate that Sirius is splendid to articulate the least. It’s worth every cent and I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone.

It maxis away flying though. In a small room or apartment, you wouldn’t need it any louder. It’s the quality of intelligent that’s important, and that’s where this delivers. Up to it’s distortion point, it sounds alike a true big sub-woofer. This is the perfect sub for anybody who is not allowed to handshaking the foundation. This sub plays deep! It just hits its max excursion fast. Either the amp is more than 50 watts or the speaker can’t handle much wattage. Speaking of the speaker, it’s about 5lbs. They seemed to have glued a smaller magnet onto the larger one at the base. I’ve discovered of some seedy speaker manufactures doing this, just this speaker seems to deliver passably good quality. I swapped away the stock speaker with a Dayton and secured the walls with track braces and then covered the inside walls with carpet. Foam would accept up to much space and there isn’t much inside already. This setup was a pleasure to form with. The grill pops decently off. The speaker is held on by 4 screws in the standard speaker hole location. (making it slowly to replace) The amp is held on by 8 screws. The port is held in situation largely by a closely matched and some glue that easily breaks loose. The amp is connected to the speaker with standard removable connectors. That’s it. It takes about 3-5 min to accept apart. As for the Dayton, it performs about the same equally the stock one. It was created for a little number bigger box, just I wanted to know if the stock speaker was unable to handle much or was it the amp that produced the power. It seems to exist the amp. It may push a stronger speaker. If I received a 100 watt 8″ speaker with a high SPL, made for a small-ported box, and good excursion level (that’s the sum of motility on a speaker), then I would actually need the special bracing. Trouble is, that would cost much more than this completely system. That, and I wouldn’t use a .5-inch thick box. Where am I going with this… anyway, this sub is worth every centime of $59. If you have a put of decently bookshelf speakers and a sub-woofer away jack on your amp that you’re not using, you would exist a fool not to induce this. To cut costs, it has no machine on/off, and no die through signal. If you must have machine on/off, purchase a remote contain on/off powerfulness provide from somewhere cheap. I received one left over from my X-mass lights. (or use the powerfulness connection on the back of your receiver if you have one). This sub doesn’t pop at completely when turned on or die and its amp is inside the box. This sub is much meliorate looking than a Sony I have. If the someone ahead me didn’t didn’t give this 4 stars, I wouldn’t have tested this out. Therefore thanks! I’m identical happy I purchased this. I consider its so cheap people are afraid of it! I don’t know how they construct money on this. (update 1-11-08) to clarify the wattage on these: output powerfulness on the spec sail is rated at 5ohms. 50 watts to 5 ohms RMS and 100 dynamic. It has a 6ohm speaker in it. That means it’s plausibly pushing about 45 watts RMS to the speaker. The frequency response is -4db at 40hz, -10db at 30hz, -15db at 25hz. It has a decently flat response from 45hz to 120hz at 90db. It then tapers die to -5db at 200hz. Not bad for $59 !!! Update 1-15-07 Here’s a FYI given to me: The instant magnet glued on the back of the driver magnet is for shielding. It is not there to deceive. The instant magnet is attached in polar opposite to the functional magnet, canceling the magnetic pollution it would ordinarily give off. (Thanks Kevin!)
