Between the spacebar and impact pad, the plastic cross was bubbled up. I essayed to only push down only it seemed similar there was something under there. I lifted it up and you may see there is a little tab that is suppose to snap into a tiny hole. I received to observe something thin enough to checked under the plastic traverse and button the tab ASUS Eee PC 1015PED-PU17-BK into spot while pushing down to snap it back into place. It was identical tardily to fix.

I’ve learned that netbooks are selfsame picky with memory! It took me three tries to eventually cause memory that worked. I read that this netbook could solely take remembering that has 8 memory chips on board vs 16. I purchased the CT25664BC1067 from Crucial and it worked. The Crucial compatibility website likewise says that exceptional remembering will work. If windows even doesn’t boot up effort disabling Boot Friend as suggested by the manual. If you still have problem try updating the BIOS.

I’m very pleased with this netbook except for the remembering trouble. I dropped a luck of time trying to figure it out.
